Doing this on the other stations has no effect, even though the computer and Sibelius recognize the existence of the Clavinovas. After I do that for each instrument, they play back correctly. All other instruments show as unallocated, but allow me to select either Clavinova-1 or Clavinova-2 as playback devices. I've noticed that in the mixer, any soprano sax automatically has the Clavinova shown as the playback device. Possibly related to this, on the functional stations, the only sound that seems to play automatically is the soprano sax - if I change any other instrument to soprano sax, it plays, but as soon as I change it back, it no longer plays back. Except for the two functional stations, the Clavinovas do not seem to be receiving any MIDI data. As best I can tell, all of the computers and keyboards have the same parameters set (MIDI drivers, playback devices, etc.), including having two Clavinova listings under Playback Devices, both using General MIDI. I am able to input notes from all the keyboards, but on only two of them can I play back a Sibelius file using the keyboard's sounds. I have Sibelius running on PC's running XP, connected to Clavinovas (all CVP-401's except for 1 CVP-405) using a USB cable from the keyboard to the computer.
